Cowdray Christmas

With its picturesque winter setting and beautiful rooms stylishly decorated with festive foliage, The Walled Garden is a warm and welcoming event space that hosts several new experiences this winter, including a fabulous Christmas Afternoon Tea and hands-on wreath-making workshops. Elsewhere on the Estate, Cowdray Farm Shop & Café sees the return of customer favourites including tasting days, late-night opening, and our ever-popular Farm Shop Evening Dining. Fishers Farm Park - Christmas at Fishers
For more than 30 years the Fishers Farm Park has shared each Christmas with multiple generations from across Sussex, Surrey and the whole of the South, and this year could to be the most magical of all!

Petworth’s Tree-mendous Christmas
Visit Petworth House this Christmas and discover an enchanted winter forest in the beautifully decorated Marble Hall. Enjoy choirs in the courtyard, late-night openings and a Christmas Makers Market, as well as festive food and drink and Christmas shopping in historic surroundings. Step into an enchanted winter forest in the Marble Hall, and see the woodland creatures, from deer crafted with garden greenery to little mice. Continue your journey to discover the Christmas trees that take inspiration from their surroundings.

Leonardslee Illuminated
Walk through the beautiful grounds of Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens as they come to life with spellbinding illuminations, projections and interactive installations.

Borde Hill Garden Santa's Grotto Experience
Kick-start the festive season with a visit to see the man himself in his magical grotto. Despite working hard all year preparing for the big day, Santa has taken time out of his mince-pie packed schedule to meet and greet families at Borde Hill and to hear what’s top of their festive wish lists.
Festive Fun in Santa’s Workshop
Lucky ticket holders will be greeted by one of Santa’s elves who will take them through to their Workshop where the festive fun begins. Here young visitors can craft a delightful decoration to take home and hang on their Christmas tree, and colour in a festive door hanger so Santa knows where to stop. They will also be able to make reindeer food to help guide Santa’s sleigh right to their doorstep.
Visit Santa in his Grotto
On the ring of Santa’s bell, it’s time for an audience with the great man himself. One of his merry elves will lead each family through to his magical grotto, where children will have their special moment with Santa. The man in red will be ready to listen to their Christmas wishes before giving out a present to each child.

Midhurst’s Christmas Street Party
Midhurst Town Council are delighted to announce the date of the highly popular Christmas Street Party on Friday 1st December 2023. Join us for entertainment, live music, late night shopping, an artisan market and the most popular feature, Santa's Grotto!
